Hey, I’m Christina – I’m so glad you’re here.
The moment you decided to look into therapy was the moment you started working towards positive change for yourself.
I started Kaleidoscope to help those who struggle with anxiety, stress, depression, relationship issues, fear and complex traumas connect the dots within their own healing process that goes beyond just talking.
As a creative arts therapist and holistic counsellor, I strongly believe that the process of creating art can be a powerful tool for your self-discovery and healing.
In other words, I’m here to help you heal through art.
EVERY JOURNEY IS UNIQUE
Art Therapy is about the process, not the product.
There’s no judgement or required skill level needed to book in your first Art Therapy session with me. The focus is on your own unique journey of self-expression through creating, along with exploring your feelings and thoughts as we go. My primary focus with new clients is to make sure that you’re comfortable working with me, so you can start from a place of trust and ease.
There’s a lot more to it than just “making art”
It doesn’t matter if you’re drawing stick figures, playing with sand, painting or making formations out of clay– Art Therapy helps you tap into your feelings and thoughts, and unearths your subconscious mind. In your 1:1 session with me, we’ll go beyond words and use visual tools, body movement, and meditation to help you connect the dots. Here is what Art Therapy with me looks like:
